Align by Celia has been a passion project, a dream, and a goal of mine for 7+ years. The very essence of Align is to facilitate a Pilates practise that nourishes an individual on a personal level and provides them with the tools to evoke and sustain a feeling of alignment within their bodies, minds, and everyday lives.

My wellness journey started in my early 20s, when I was a full-time registered nurse living and breathing the hustle of Melbourne life. This very quickly led me down a path of burnout and fatigue and heightened my anxiety tenfold. Within this time I discovered reformer pilates, and I can confidently say—it saved me. I took a huge leap of faith in 2016, packing my life into my car and relocating to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, where I have very happily resided since. I took a break from my nursing career, dipping my toes in hospitality, until I finally decided to do my first yoga teacher training. I vividly remember walking along Mooloolaba Beach and telling my friend that one day I will open a wellness studio to help and support others in ways I have found helpful and have needed for myself. Since taking part in my first yoga teacher training, within the space of 4 years, I have travelled overseas and completed a second yoga teacher training, completed my Pilates certifications in mat, reformer, and the Wunda Chair, and I have also completed a certification as a holistic health coach. My biggest realisation is knowing and accepting that life is a constant wave of movement; to be healthy and well is to be resilient, connected, and accepting of the inevitable changes we all go through. My goal is to provide my clients and my community with a safe, loving space where everyone can feel welcome, supported, and comfortable being themselves. Pilates with Celia is not purely focused only on the physical body; rather, we move to feel connected, aligned within the body and the mind.
